Networking Events:
The Colorbars Networking committee will organize and execute (6) bi-monthly events throughout the year. The Colorbars networking events are platforms for our members to build relationships, share information, strengthen their confidence, and increase their own professional network. Committee members will collaborate and discuss event themes, venues, partnerships and sponsors.
Professional Development (Panels / Workshops):
The Professional Development Committee is responsible for the planning and execution of all Colorbars programming related to career development in media, entertainment, and communication. The criteria for such events include, but are not exclusive to, developing panel discussions, selecting keynote speakers, and sponsoring workshops and classes. These endeavors are designed to give members access to executive level talent and top tier professionals in their fields, keeping members educated on industry trends as well as the creative and business sides of our industry, and, lastly, equipping them with new skills and tools to make them viable and attractive to clients and employers.
Digital Media and Content (Social Media / Website):
The Digital Media & Content Committee is responsible for strategy and marketing of each colorbars committee program by communicating information through social media and website content.
